Pete MacLeod — Actor
 

Pete MacLeod is a Canadian actor and producer known primarily for dark, psychologically driven work across film, television, and theatre. Most recently he starred opposite Elisha Cuthbert (The Girl Next Door, 24) in the television movie Monster in the Family: The Stacey Kananen Story, in a performance that leaned into some of the network's darkest material to date.
 

On stage, Pete has built a career on demanding, psychologically intense theatre roles — including Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire, Winston Smith in 1984, and Alan Strang in Equus. He starred in the world premiere of The Soldier's Wife by Governor General Award nominee Sean Harris Oliver, based on the real-life story of Canadian veteran Trevor Greene. 
 

He is the Founder & Artistic Director of MadFox Theatre, a company producing work such as Tiny Beautiful Things (adapted from Cheryl Strayed - Canadian premiere), Hand to God by Robert Askins, and Paula Vogel's How I Learned to Drive. With the company he has starred in Hannah Moscovitch's Little One and Simon Stephen's Sea Wall under the direction of Christopher Weddell. 
 

Pete can next be seen in the feature film How We Stand, directed by Marie Clements, which is scheduled to make its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in the fall of 2026.
